BigTime Release Update: May '26

The May release marks the first wave of the BigTime Platform Evolution, a connected, more intuitive experience that brings BigTime's solutions closer together. This release introduces a new left-hand navigation, a unified staff list, and a unified staff profile, giving teams a single place to find what they need and a layout designed to scale with your firm. These enhancements will roll out gradually, with firms enabled in waves. You'll be informed ahead of activation so your teams are prepared.

What's New -

A more connected BigTime experience begins this month

We're rolling out the first wave of enhancements that make BigTime feel more connected and easier to navigate, no matter which products you use. Starting mid May, the updates below will roll out to customers in phases.

Not all firms will be moved to the new experience at once. Your firm will be enabled on a rolling basis, and your BigTime team will reach out in advance of your activation.

A new-left hand navigation

Menu options have moved from the top of the screen to a collapsible left sidebar, giving you more room to work and a layout that matches the apps you use everyday. Global tools like search, timer, notifications, and your profile remain in the top bar. If your firm uses BigTime Resource Management, it will now live inside the main BigTime Delivery platform. No more separate browser tab, no more losing your place between Delivery and Resource Management.

One unified staff list

View, search, filter, and manage every staff member from a single staff list. Customize columns, export to XLSX, CSV, or PDF and click any row to open a full staff profile. Firms with BigTime Resource Management enabled will see skills, availability, and languages alongside core staff details in the same view.

Open any staff member to see their profile, contracts, skills, time off, and security details in one connected workspace. Resource Managers can review reporting structure, availability, and contract details in a single workflow without switching between products or reselecting the staff member.

What's not changing

Your data, reports, integrations, permissions, and access levels stay exactly as they are. Every feature you use today will continue to work the same way.

Introducing Custom Pricing Formats in BigTime Quotes

Available now for BigTime Quotes customers.

If your firm prices work in ways that don't fit a standard template, you've likely relied on spreadsheets to fill the gap. That often means quote inaccuracies, scattered logic, and inconsistent data flowing into BigTime Delivery. Custom Pricing Formats give your Admins a central, governed place to build reusable pricing structures that match how your firm actually works. From the Admin Panel, you can:

  • Design custom table layouts

  • Configure column types

  • Define your own calculation logic

Once a format is created, it's available to any user building a Quote Task, so every quote starts from a structure your firm trusts and ends with clean, consistent data ready for delivery.

Data Hub for BigTime Quotes

BigTime Quotes data has now been extended to BigTime Data Hub!

If your firm uses BigTime Quotes, that data is now flowing into Data Hub, giving you end-to-end visibility across the full project lifecycle for the first time.

You can now connect pre-sales and delivery data across Quotes, Resource Management, and Delivery in a single reporting environment. That means you can tie pipeline directly to demand planning, compare quoted work against actual time and expense outcomes, and use real delivery data to sharpen pricing decisions on future projects.

The result: your finance, delivery, and sales teams are working from the same picture, and every new quote benefits from what past projects actually taught you.
