New Report Center Enhancements - Report Archives

As part of our commitment to enhancing the New Report Center, we’re introducing updates that make managing reports even easier. We’re excited to announce Report Archives in the New Report Center! Now, you can keep your workspace organized without the worry of losing important reports.

Report Archives Features:

  • Easily Recover Archived Reports: Retrieve any archived report or report folder for 30 days, ensuring you can organize with confidence.

  • Streamlined Organization: Reduce report clutter and focus on active reports by archiving older reports.


The Legacy Report Center is Being Retired – Make the Switch Now

If you’re still using the legacy Report Center, now is the time to switch! The New Report Center supports all the features you rely on, plus:

Improved control over reports and folders
Embedded search for faster access
Enhanced organization & management tools

We strongly encourage you to activate and start using the New Report Center
in the coming weeks. The legacy Report Center will be phased out later this year, so getting familiar with the new experience now will ensure a smooth transition for your team.

How to activate the New Report Center:
Admins can enable the feature by navigating to:
My Company → My Company → Active Features → Report Center (ON).

Time & Expense Approval Enhancements

Approving time and expenses just got easier and more efficient! Our latest updates introduce powerful new enhancements, making it simpler than ever to navigate and manage approvals:

  • Upgraded Search Functionality – Easily search by name, project, or timeframe to quickly locate specific entries, all within a single page.

  • Smart Approval Tabs – Automatically sorts primary, secondary, and final approvals into dedicated tabs for a more organized view.

  • Enhanced Bulk Actions – Approve or reject multiple entries at once, directly from the Time or Expense Approval home pages.

These improvements create a more intuitive and organized experience, helping you process approvals faster while ensuring consistency across both time and expense approval pages.

Delete and Merge Payments

BigTime is excited to introduce a smarter way to manage your payments. Duplicate or incorrect payments can create unnecessary confusion and disrupt financial reporting. With a new self-service method, Financial Admins now have a seamless way to delete and merge duplicate payments—whether they originate from BigTime Wallet, QuickBooks, Sage, or manual entry. This ensures accurate invoice records, streamlines reconciliation, and eliminates the need for external support when resolving payment discrepancies.

  • Increased Control – Financial Admins can now directly manage incorrect or duplicated payments without support intervention.

  • Improved Accuracy – Ensures invoices reflect the correct balances by eliminating duplicate or incorrect payments.

  • Real-Time Updates – Payment modifications instantly adjust invoice records and reporting.

  • Transparent Activity Feed – Every action is logged, providing a clear record for financial reviews.

This BigTime update brings valuable improvements and fixes, ensuring the platform stays reliable and works smoothly with your processes.

Invoicing & Payments

IMPROVED: Self-service delete or merge incorrect payments, with audit trail tracking on the invoice.
FIXED: Resolved isolated issue where duplicate payments appeared with new payments 2.0 update.
FIXED: Wallet payments show the Full Amount due on an invoice instead of just Tax Amount.
FIXED: Summary/subtotaling for T&M invoices can be adjusted in the Invoice Wizard.


Reporting & Analytics

IMPROVED: Introduced the ability to archive reports and folders in the New Report Center.
IMPROVED: With the new Archiving function, restore archived reports or folders within 30 days.


Projects & Tasks

FIXED: Invoice Summary section in the Project Details pulls data from each project’s Last Created Invoice.


Time & Expenses

IMPROVED: Approve expenses in bulk from the expense approval home page.
IMPROVED: Add “Hours Awaiting Approval” column to the Timesheet approvals home page.


Mobile

IMPROVED: [Android] Easily copy a time entry, if no timer is currently running.
FIXED: [iOS] Selecting expense type after inputting amount no longer resets value.
FIXED: [iOS] Extra zero no longer persists after entering the expense amount.
