Team Members &
Projects Calendar Updates

We’ve introduced a faster, more intuitive calendar experience across Foresight—including the Team Members Calendar, Projects Calendar, as well as calendars in the Staffer Profile and the Team Members section of the Project Profile. Whether you’re assigning at scale or fine-tuning an individual’s schedule, these updates make it easier to plan work, reduce clicks, and stay in control. With a smarter layout, quick-access tools, and optimized default views, planning is now faster and more efficient.

Key Improvements:

• New Toolbar for Managing Assignments
  A redesigned toolbar is now always pinned to the top of each calendar, giving you access to actions like copy, clone, cut, remove, and connect to demand.

• Streamlined Views
  We’ve introduced a new default view optimized for short-term planning that is grouped, compact, and clear. The Team Members Calendar now opens grouped by project, while the Projects Calendar allows smarter grouping by person or deliverable.

• Smarter Calendar Controls
  Calendar headers have been streamlined, with improved placement of filters and view selectors for quicker access. The new default view highlights assignments in a clear format that has been improved for flexible planning. Enhanced drag-and-drop functionality makes it easier to adjust schedules on the fly, with fewer clicks.

Assignment Form Improvements

We've evolved how you assign work with a new Compact Form for fast, high-volume scheduling. You can still toggle back to the Standard Form at any time, depending on your needs. Creating an assignment used to take 15–20 clicks, now it can be done in as few as 2. That’s a massive productivity boost for teams managing large volumes of short-term assignments.

Key Features:

• Compact Form (New!)
  Plan work in just a few clicks. Ideal for short-term or repetitive assignments, this form shows only the fields you need—nothing more.

• Smart Field Logic
  Start with any field (e.g., duration, total hours, or dates), and the rest will update automatically.

• Visual Assignment Status Toggle
  A new button group replaces the dropdown for status, giving you instant visibility into options like Active, Draft, or Reserved.
